This is a nice, lightweight, portable machine. The compressor runs smooth and it's pretty incredible how fast it can make ice. It's a contained unit, so you just pour water into the reservoir (holds around one quart) and it auto-pumps to fill the ice moulds, then when the ice is done a flapper pushes the ice into a basket that sits just above the water reservoir. The process repeats until the ice gets high enough in the basket to trip the photo-eye which pauses things. Once you dump the ice basket the process starts again until the basket is full (or the water is used up). Note that the ice basket area is not refrigerated, so as soon as ice is made it starts to melt slightly and remains wet, so if/when you transfer to a freezer it'll freeze together into a block and will need broken apart depending on your application. If you forget about ice in the basket no worries, it'll eventually just melt back into the water reservoir and get recycled. The carry handle and access lid are a bit fragile, not sure how they will hold-up long-term, but overall I'm happy with this unit.

Produit reçu dans les délais annoncés, bien emballé. La machine à glaçons fonctionne bien, et fabrique environ 2 kg de glace en 10 heures donc un peu loin de ce qui est réellement annoncé, mais cela est suffisant pour mon usage.

Bonne machine mais à la fin du cycle refait des petits glaçons et fait un bruit de casserole ! Dommage sinon j'en suis très content. Voilà mon avis personnel.

Efficace pour le prix. Il manque un moyen de remplir sans arroser les glaçons déjà fait. Les premiers glaçons sont toujours plus petit mais c'est normal pour ce genre de machine

Machine bien emballée, bien reçue. Je ne l’ai essayée qu’une seule fois, la première avec les petits glaçons : ils sont passés à travers l’égouttoir en plastique; la seconde fois les gros qui eux étaient parfaits.

Bruyant, mais le reste ok. Livraison gratuite rapide. Bien pour une petite consommation.

The machine works as advertised and makes lots odnice, however it is very loud while making ice and more so when in dispences the ice into the holding basket. Would be better outside in your patio or balcony

This is the first ice maker I own so I cannot compare to other brands, but I am at most mildly satisfied. YES, it does make ice, and quite quickly. But : - the ice itself is flimsy: it is ice but not very cold ice, more like thin and wet-on-the-outside type of ice (even the bigger size, which is not that big), which means it melts very quickly in your glass - the control could be improved: the machine continuously makes ice until the bucket is full or until there is no more water. I suppose the use case is for a shop selling some drinks with a continuous need of ice, but my use case is that I would prefer to always have some ice ready, but perhaps just once a day - related to the previous point: ice that is made is not kept in a special cool container, which means it slowly but continuously melts - I would prefer if it could keep the ice it made for me and if I could control the quantity e.g. half-full ps i tried to put the ice in the freezer but then it became quickly a big block of ice cubes melted together - the machine is rather noisy, so leaving it on all the time in a normal kitchen (and not a shop) is an annoyance - the little plug to remove the water is inconveniently located under the machine so it cannot be emptied so easily, and the plug itself looks a little flimsy as well, not sure how long it will last So in short, I love to have ice, but I was close to wanting to return this machine. I am keeping it because it kinda works and it's better than nothing
