Have not had this very long, although I am impressed with the build and what appears strong durability. Just have to see how long it lasts over time. I paid more for this compared to other brands. Hope the saying you only get what you pay for is true. The only negative I have and the reason for 4 stars and not 5, is the instructions. Parts given for installation versus the instructions not very clear. Shows diagrams for mounting, shows parts, but one set of parts, screws/bolts (can't) remember) have wall anchors with them. Standard wood screws that come with it have no anchors. So I was not sure which one I was suppose to use. I ended up going to YouTube to research. Vevor had no videos I could locate with a full explanation. Found a video from a private individual that thoroughly explained the unit and how to mount, and what the parts with it are used for. Found out that the parts with anchors is to be used if mounting into concrete or block. Once I found that out, the rest was easy. So for Vevor, make the instructions a little more detailed as to what is to be used for where. If Vevor thinks this is not true, then I must of gotten some printed instructions that were faulty.

this reel works well first one I got worked for two days then got a short in reel and quit working, so I ordered another since I removed end to switch into power plug instead of extension cord.

Interesting for your work but not durable. Only for personal use, not for professional staff. I recommend

12awg AC Power Real. Very solid construction I have it mounted on ceiling in Garage. 45ft can reach any where in garage. Reaches to my sidewalk. It retracts well with assisting the weight of cable but does fully retract. The price is eye opening. Great product!

This is for light duty. It has only a 10 amp circuit breaker. I tried it on a small grill, but it kept tripping. The description states heavy duty, but it’s only rated for 10 amps.

The cord will reel in and bind up on itself because there is no adjuster to make it evenly distribute in the real! So it makes it a pain to use.

This seems to be a really good product,heavy gauge wire is nice length of cable is accurate it works good my only problem with it is the fact that is doesn't have any type of level wind. This creates a stand there and slowly wind it back into the Vevor holder .just the fact I assumed it had level wind like their hose reels..So be aware it does not have a level wind .Other than that it's a really nice product.
