This is a very sturdy kayak carrier. Easy to assemble out of the box. My kayak is a little larger and heavier than most because it is designed specifically for fishing. It has more of a flat bottom, but I can still use this carrier with it. This carrier was a lot easier to use than the mechanism that came with my kayak, which takes a lot of time to put together and is not as sturdy as this one. I love the larger tires on this item, because it makes it a little easier to maneuver through sand or soft ground as opposed to a carrier with hard plastic tires.
