Building process tanks from 8" sch 40 steel pipe. Each tank takes 5 fittings with o-lets. Drilling by hand or torching was less than satisfactory so I bought this Vevor magnetic drill. What a pleasure. It bores through the thick pipe wall with ease and leaves a clean hole. At first I was concerned that the magnetic base would be unstable on the curved surface of the pipe but it's easy to hold steady. I wouldn't recommend this without a pipe accessory on smaller diameters but on 8" pipe, it worked fine. $166 with a set of bits, it's an incredible value.

Bin sehr zufrieden. Funktioniert einwandfrei Hab mit der Magnetbohrmaschine schon mehrfach gearbeitet und würde sagen Preis Leistung ist mehr als okay.

This is a great drill for the price. I looked at many seemingly comparable ones and they all cost at least $800. I've been using this to drill out old bolts that have broken off on the side of my cast tractor casings. It's been more than up to the task. The magnet holds it reasonably firm and the drill itself is more than powerful enough. The bits have been able to drill into grade 8.8 bolts.

This drill is solid feeling and has a ton of adjustments available for many tasks. The magnet grips well to keep it in place. It has had no issues drilling any of the holes accurately. It is louder than I thought it would be but I wear ear protection normally anyway. This was a great addition to my tool kit and I will be using it a lot more.

Worked better than I expected. I used a 11/16 vevor cutter and drilled 22 holes through 3/4 inch steel plate. And the bit is still in good shape. Also used the 2inch cutter and cut 16 holes through 5/8 steel and it is still sharp. I used cutting oil in drill and used hand pump oiler can for additional cooling. Probably not ideal for everyday use but for an occasional job it works great for the small investment.

I was dreading the thought of using my bench drill press for a sculpture (which so far weighs 100 KG) but would necessitate trying to clamp the sculpture upside down and due to 130+ lengths of 10 mm diameter steel rods, would have been absolutely impossible to secure. Using the oxytorch to blow holes through was out of the question to avoid heating basalt rock. That's when I saw John Cadogan's video on the Vevor Magnetic Drill. The perfect solution! However, while my workbench is made of steel, it's only 7.5 mm thick, so I made a metal base 20 mm thick for the magnetic clamp. Now I'll be able to complete the sculpture, which would've been very difficult without this tool.

Habe das Paket mit Bohrfutter und Bohrkronen gekauft. Habe bisher nur mit dem Bohrfutter gearbeitet. Auf einer Eisenplatte+ Schraubzwinge auf dem Tisch montiert, um 40*40 Quadratrohr zu bohren. Ich muß sagen bin froh sie gekauft zu haben.
