I was looking for some type of removable rack to transport my kayak while pulling a camper. This one is easy to assemble and works great!

Wind noise is very loud at 45 MPH and above. I wrapped electrical tape around the top of each post thinking that would help but it did not. Next step is to apply duck tape to cover the groves in the rails and post, if this helps I will remove the tape and fill the groves with caulking.

Good quality

The design of the rack is well thought out such as the aluminum extrusion accommodating multiple assembly procedures with relative ease. The clamp-on mounting is a great feature as it simplifies removal of the racks if required. the rear rack is too high and should be lower by about 15 cm to make it easier to load long items.

Overall, this is a very good product - especially for the price. If you happen to have a Honda Ridgeline, the clamps supplied won't fit your bed rails, so you will have to find a different way to mount it. I installed some strut channels on the sides of my truck bed (easy, due to existing mouting bolts) to which I bolted some angle brackets which the rack base bolts onto quite securely. Another slight problem is that racks whistle fairly loudly at highway speed, but it's only really noticeable with your windows or the sunroof open. The whistling is caused by the shape of the rack bar, but there's a product available which breaks up the wind flowing over them and supposedly makes them much quieter.

Perfect for my need just to carry 2 kayak

I am not not the most handy of men but I was able to install this rack easily. It does leave a threaded end upright and exposed. I am going to use a glue gun to cover it. If it came with covers for that, I would give a perfect score.

The product is worth the money. Your customer service has got to be the worst I've ever had to deal with, because of that I would rather go somewhere else, pay a few dollars more and not have to deal with you again.

Overall quality of rack and J Bolts is pretty good. My only complaint is the set screws that are used to hold the rack together. They are already rusting after 2 weeks and there is no way to face them toward the cab with the pieces given. Even if I could put them on the other side to hide them I’d be okay with that. I’m gonna have to go get some that won’t rust.

I thought the quality of the product was very good. However, I had to return it as it did not fit with my canopy on. Why, my canopy was not all flat at the bottom. With my Leer canopy it forced the rack to be on the inside of it. First picture you can see the truck bed curve down. Second picture you can see the bracket puts the rack inside the bed. I hope you can see the upside down "U" kinda shape of the of the canopy that sits on the truck bed too. If I flipped the rack so the L part was outside of the truck it would hit the curve of the truck box. L bracket puts it on the inside of the truck. Saw no options.
