We process most of our own meat, and I feed my dogs a raw diet. Now that I’ve run at least 200lbs through it, I’m comfortable giving this a SOLID 5 stars.
Simply put, this grinder is an absolute beast for any home/homestead operation. I wouldn’t hesitate to put it into light commercial use. I’ve run this grinder almost two hours solid at times without a single issue. The reverse function is VERY nice, but rarely needed if you’re not shoving hard bones down the throat.
The description says no bones, but SMALL bones go through just fine in my experience….this is a #32 grinder after all. I grind whole chickens, bones and all, with zero issues. I haven’t tried putting a whole rabbit through yet, but I can’t imagine it would be a problem. Just don’t try to grind turkey bones…they’ll jam it up.
