Affordable and works on my 10x10 bay door.
My only issue was programming it and the closing operation. When it closes it will roll back up. So hit the opener button once the bay door is completely closed. I used wood and longer bolts to extend the bracket that holds up the door from the barrel of the bay door. Id include pics but the website wont let me.

Buyer
This is a great buy at $130 bucks. I had closed drum door so the stobs on opener didn’t fit my door but I knew that before ordering. I rented a hand crank material lift from Home Depot for 80 bucks just to be safe, I highly recommend this on bigger doors. Mine are 12x12. Tighten left side saddle down tight on door, remove left saddle and chain drive lift door and then I took the bracket off the wall to get it out of my way completely. Remove saddle and chain drive. I was able to use the sprocket bolt holes to mount a pice of 2x2 aluminum tubing to fit between the stobs I cut the tubing down to 1-3/4 x2”. The 2” fits right between the stobs. I also cut about an inch off the stobs to make everything fit back where I could put the brackets back in the same spot. I had this for 2 weeks procrastinating because I wasn’t sure what I was doing. I hope this helps someone else the people saying it’s doesn’t fit theirs we’re in the same boat as me with the closed drum, but it’s really easy to make it work and you will have the least expensive roll door opener around. Companies around me quoted 800-1200 to come do it and I did it for under $220. You can too. Rent the lift!

Vevor 800 N - Modified to Fit Closed Drum Roller Door
This model is designed to fit open roller door drums. For closed drum style some modification is required. You'll need to fab, or find a 'U' shaped metal bracket, cut to fit, and fasten to the closed drum plate. I used a 1 x 3/8" bolt and lock washer to fasten the bracket to an available threaded opening in the drum. Cut the two plastic legs down on the Vevor roller to fit the bracket. The bracket fits between the legs. You may need to cut a space for the cord to fit, depending on the wall mounted bracket. If your door has a smaller diameter main shaft, simply use a piece of pvc to fill the gap. The pics should give a pretty good idea of what needs to be done. (Don't try this if you're not real handy with modifying things to work...)
After modification and installation the Vevor 800 N roller door closer worked perfectly! It is very quiet and smooth. Highly recommended!

Fit
The equipment works great and is easy to setup. Install can be tricky and isn’t an exact fit. You need to cut the hole in the drum of the door a little bigger so it can fit

This is the second one of these that I have bought. They work well. They are designed for a door that has a fixed shaft. My doors have a rotating shaft so I designed a mount that is attached to the door tube shaft and supports the opener on a bushing allowing the shaft to rotate in the center. If you are interested in buying a mount contact me on Facebook "Sam Mac"

The opener was very easy to set up and the power of this unit is unbelievable I had to reduce the opening force from the factory setting to be able to stop it going up and a great price

Roll Up Door Opener
These door openers are designed for a roll up door that has a stationary shaft and the disks rotate on it. My door is a DBCI model 650 that the shaft rotates on bearings at each end. I designed a work around to make the opener work with my style door. It consists of a shaft that fits inside and is welded to the center tube of the door with a lug to engage the rotating part of the opener, a bearing that the opener clamps to and a torque arm to keep the opener from rotating. The center shaft is keyed to the lug so that you can adjust it for clearance or mount it on the left or right side of the door. I made 3 of these so I have 2 for sale if any of you need one let me know, $90.00 plus shipping. Opener works awesome

Parker
Works great on 10’x10’ rollups. Also used on 12’x10’ with no issues. I’ve installed 4 of these units the only problem is getting replacement fob remotes but universal fobs will work if extras or replacements are needed
