Received in a nice crate. I disassembled the carriage and cross slide and ran them through my ultrasonic cleaner, it is a must to clean it first. Waiting on tooling because of a postal delay so haven’t cut with it yet. However I put mitutoyo indicators on it an a piece of steel round bar….. the run out was less than .001 more like .0005 so I am extremely happy with that! Great price looking forward to having fun with it! EDIT: I have cut some 12L14 which obviously gave beautiful surface finish. The 1045 I’ve cut and drilled was still pretty darn good as this is my first lathe. Overall very happy.

Great lathe for the price. Worked fine out of the box (after clean up). Got rid of my big lathe, Just needed a small lathe for the occasional small shaft of bushing. Bought the needed wedge type QCTP to go with it.

Had about 3 weeks. Works well. I might should have gotten the 550 watt instead of the 400. It does slow down when turning on plastic so thinking on my next metal project it have been better to get the550 watt

El Torno muy bien, tienes que hacer ajustes cuando lo recibes pero para el precio que vale estoy más que satisfecho, pasadas de 2mm en Aluminio se las lleva sin problemas, en Acero se comporta y mantiene las medidas. Sobre VEVOR al principio no me fiaba mucho porque no los conocía, me fie de los comentarios y sobre todo por el precio del torno me decidí a comprarlo, solo tengo que decir cosas buenas, lo recibí en prácticamente una semana por DHL, traía una palanca mal soldada que me remplazaron sin problemas enviándome una nueva, el soporte de VEVOR siempre con ganas de solucionar y muy amables, mi experiencia con ellos a sido muy buena, no puedo decir otra cosa, un 10. En las fotos se ve que cambié el porta herramientas por uno de cambio rápido de aluminio, no viene con este, trae uno normal de tornillos de 4 posiciones.

Came in with shipping damage, and needed lots of tweaking. But its a nice tool once everything is fixed!

this lathe does everything i need it to, but where do i get parts for it? The speed control circuitry needs to be replaced and i dont see a Vevor online parts store

I haven't used it yet, but it looks great. I have allot of experience with machining. With that and a very nice video review of an identical machine, I believe that I can realistically expect that it will satisfy my modest needs. VIDEO: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=05vUCdzhoe4 With full knowledge however I can say that the packaging is the best i have ever seen. The delivery driver set it down out of the truck on its end. Even though the UP orientation for the parcel was clearly marked. A barbecue grill delivered by the same company was also clearly marked and delivered also on end. That grill was pretty dinged up out of the box. But the lathe would have been fine any way they left it. It was bolted to the bottom of a surprizingly sturdy box, considering that it was constructed of 1/4" plywood. But the fasteners were amazing. It was astually quite a job just getting the thing opened. That's it. That's my review.
