Uso questo microscopio nel mio laboratorio orafo e ne sono rimasto molto soddisfatto. L’immagine è chiara e nitida anche a ingrandimenti elevati (7x–45x), il che mi permette di lavorare con grande precisione su incassature, forature e finiture. La qualità ottica è davvero superiore per questa fascia di prezzo. Il supporto è solidissimo, realizzato interamente in metallo, e offre una stabilità perfetta durante il lavoro. Il sistema a molla è preciso, e l’anello di luce integrato è potente e ben distribuito, ideale per non avere ombre durante le lavorazioni. Unico piccolo appunto: alcuni componenti interni del supporto, quelli che bloccano le regolazioni, non sono in metallo ma in plastica dura spessa e robusta. Sarebbe stato ideale averli anch’essi in metallo per rendere l’intero supporto completamente metallico. Tuttavia svolgono egregiamente la loro funzione, basta non stringere eccessivamente. In conclusione: un microscopio professionale, robusto e preciso, assolutamente consigliato per orafi, incisori, modellisti o chiunque lavori su dettagli microscopici. Lo ricomprerei senza esitazioni.

it arrived a bit later than i expected but it came in good shape. it was easy to assemble. so far so good. price was allright. looked for cheaper options but this was the best price for usability.

Great quality and utility given its unbeatable price. I'm a hobbyist and didn't want to drop 8x the money for a meiji or 10x for a leica, so I went with vevor...very happy.

This is a huge upgrade from an optivisor for stone setting. I haven’t used a more expensive microscope so I have nothing to compare it to. The articulating arm is pretty stiff and I have to give it a really good yank to get it into position and the cable on the ring light is a little on the shorter side so I might need to extend it or get a different one. My biggest complaint is that the rubber eye guards don’t attach securely at all. I am literally knocking them off onto the floor 29 times a day or if I put the cover on and take off they will disappear so I am planning on buying some new eye guards for it. The ball vice is fine. It works for holding rings but it’s not as heavy duty as a GRS. I really waffled on buying a Leica, then an Amscope trinocular. But after receiving the Amscope , I realized that the Vevor was about a third of the price and same unit/optics minus the trinocular part. If you need to set stones and not go into debt then this is a great option and I whole heartedly recommend despite the couple of drawbacks mentioned. I own a lot of Vevor stuff (melting furnace, rotary tumbler, fume extractor) in my studio in addition to name brand stuff and Vevor hasn’t let me down yet.

Overall this scope is a great value. It is definitely not as good as the more expensive rigs, but it gets probably 80% of the way there for a fraction of the cost. Here are some problems you should know about before purchase. None of them are dealbreakers, and can be pretty easily overcame. - the big one is the lead screw for mounting the microscope to the arm was not long enough on my unit. Only about 2 threads were able to grab and so I almost dropped the microscope a couple times when I went to tighten it into place and the threads slipped. I solved it by taking a 1/2 inch drill bit and drilling out a small recess for the handle to sit into so it’d have more purchase on the screw. Now it can’t get quite as tight so the head will still swivel from side to side without much force, but at least it won’t fall off the arm. - the included usb ring light has a couple issues. First the cable isn’t long enough to be ran all the way down the arm and to a power source, so you’ll need an extension cord. Second it doesn’t come with an ac adapter, so depending on your power situation you’ll have to pick one of those up too. Third the light isn’t diffused at all so it can cause some pretty nasty glare on your workpiece. Some tissue paper can be affixed to help. - The included dust cover won’t fit over both the arm and the microscope after it’s been assembled. Overall though the build quality is pretty good, with all the important parts being quality metal. The picture quality is good, and the range of zoom is good for all the work I do. The ball vise is a little cheap, but it get the job done and has a good variety of bits to let it grab whatever you need. In whole, this setup is totally worth the price, even after picking up a couple little things to make it run better.

Works well as a beginner microscope for stone setting. Going from an Optivisor to this has completely changed the game for me, the quality of my work is going way up. No issues at all with the microscope or the stand, definitely worth the price.

This is absolutely perfect. I am using it to set stones, carve wax, general repairs. It is BIG and it is heavy, you will need a workspace that is at least 60cm wide, and quite thick to secure the base to. The only critical thing I could say is that the cable for the ring light is short and does not come with a plug, just a USB, so keep that in mind. Really fast shipping, in perfect condition. Very happy!
