This is a very nice diode laser. Currently engraving slate for the first time and left the power low (40) and speed at 6k mm and it looks great. All the details are in the image.

This laser kit works very well for cutting thin wood and engraving all sorts of material. for sure there is a learning curve, like with anything.

I really enjoy this. I use laserGRBL; it's free and not too difficult to figure out. I am using Adobe paint to modify the images. And low cost wood at dollar tree. The bolt holes for the power box tells you what part is the front. For the side rails put the one with the stop on the left side during assembly. ( For electric controls hookup.
