Just had it installed a week ago. Took it on a test float. A far cry from what I had previously - cables and pulleys. Made it out of and into a marina well one-handed! 26 foot pontoon with a 150 Merc. I'd go 5 stars across the board but I've only tried it out for a couple hours. The boat is leisure and fishing/trolling on a very big lake in Michigan. This was a quarter of the cost for a SeaStar system! If I get 5 years out of this I will be a very happy consumer! I'll also add that the marina owner told me how easy it was to replace/install, and the helm replacement was very straight forward. He's hooked too, so I'll be asking him in a month or so how he likes his. He does lots of boat maintenance, and if's he's happy, Vevor will be doing a lot more business.

Purchased the one for a 75hp which is what my motor is however at speed it would not turn the motor. This one works fine hard to bleed air out. Still have a delay in the steering but it will hold a strait line now

Helaas na inbouw blijkt de stuurpomp lek te zijn en heb ik nu een lekkage. Voor de rest ziet het er prima uit en lijkt de kwaliteit goed. Heb nu een email gestuurd dat de stuurpomp lekt, even kijken of ze het oplossen.

I've this on the boat for about 100 hours. The boat is used in salt water but trailered and not kept on the water. It's worked flawlessly so far. Install was straightforward. No signs of corrosion on the hydraulic cylinders at the engine, but the helm has quite a bit. Salt has penetrated the powder coat and has began the typical bubbling on the metal. The boat is rinsed after use and Salt Away is used every few uses, which leads me to believe there were flaws in the coating that allowed salt in. For the cost, it is what it is... Better coating would make this an unbeatable value.

I would suggest anyone with an engine bigger than 50hp should go for the 150hp hydraulic system. Spend the extra few euros. Its probably a better system. I went for the 90hp with an 80hp engine thinking it would be good enough. But I dont believe it is. So buyer beware go for the stronger system. I'm sorry I didn't. If I was to buy again I wouldn't buy the 90hp. So dont be fooled by there stats. Go bigger. Much better. Other than that great price and a good system. So far. Only used it twice will have to wait till next year. And also it pulls hard to the right .cant let go of steering wheel. But I think I fixed that with the steering tab on engine.

I had a No Fed Back cable steering on my Yamaha F115 for over 20 years and helm had started to wear out. I decided to go with Hydraulic Steering. I researched the high end and low end steering systems and decided to go with the Vevor which is a Noerl system. I just took the boat out for a long day fishing on the Bay and it performed flawlessly. It steered smooth and easy under power and held the line when I needed to release the steering wheel. I checked for leaks before I trailered my boat and after using it and could not find a drop of fluid anywhere. At this point I am extremely pleased with it. On the downside. If you are not mechanically inclined and do not understand the principals of hydraulics I would suggest you have someone that does install it. The installation manual can be a bit confusing and leaves out stuff like, either pre-prime the steering pump or while bleeding the system keep pressure on the pump while bleeding each side of the cylinder. If you don't you will never achieve a solid turn cycle since there will be air in the lines. I also suggest that if you are pulling the hoses into a tube that you when you tape them together you put about 6" distance between the two hoses so the tip of the pull can guide through the wires and stuff that you have to pull through. This is just my opinion of the steering kit.

Monteren ging prima. Ontluchten doe je liever net 2 personen anders wordt het een knoeiboel. Stuurhuis steekt verder uit dan de ultraflex die vaak gebruikt wordt (5cm). Kabels zijn erg stug. De bediening is goed. Ik had verwacht dat de pomp iets directer zou werken. Er zit een klein dood punt in. Verder gaat links en rechts draaien nu even makkelijk dit in tegenstelling tot de ultraflex. Voor deze prijs een prima systeem.
