It will work on hard surfaces, & hald more gasoline. Being Plastic It must be kelp in a shed or shop out of the sun.

Cost was right component for pump not so much. Bought 2 and one of the hand pumps was broken right from the start. The other worked ok. Channeled my inner redneck and have a hoist system..just removed pump and modified into gravity fed. Much better that way.

Started leaking around the outlet as soon as i got it, tried a lot of different things to stop the leak to no avail. Have to use it laying flat only so it dosnt leak, but other than that good product.

Great price and the crank pump was much easier to use than the squeeze pump style. Problems with leaks at every hose connection point required replacing every hose clamp with a wider clamp, and gasolia on every threaded connection. That works if you are filling the tank and then using the fuel right away. If you use this to store fuel, it will need to be in a temperature controlled area and laying on it's back, but you will still get fumes.

I purchased this gas container in September 2025 and used it once every 2 weeks on average. It worked excellent thru the winter, spring and most of the 2026 summer. The crank assembly started to exhibit a bit more resistance when turning to pump gas. It got progressively worse and now it hardly turns at all. I plan to remove the crank assembly, take it apart to possibly determine problem cause. I’ve purchased many Vevor items over the years and this is my first failure/disappointment.

Sadly it leaked so I could not use it and the return process was complicated.

An absolute waste of money! First of all the pump handle leaks, second.. this pump works on gravity, you would think that with the pump hose coming out at the bottom of the machine, the gravity would push the fuel down the inside of the tank, out the hose and into whatever you're filling.... no matter how high the filler spout is of your tractor or car etc etc.... That is not correct, you literally have to have this entire machine higher in the air then whatever it is you're filling.. And believe me... if you think it's hard to lift up and keep steady a 5 gallon gas jug when you're trying to fill your tractor... it is almost impossible to lift up and keep steady a 16 gallon jug.. the only way to make this pump usable is to keep it on some kind of table or shelf that is 5 ft tall and then, and only then will it work pumping fuel into your lawn mower or vehicle! also, because of where the hose is attached to the tank, it is impossible to get every last drop of fuel out of the tank once you have filled it! another very odd feature of this machine is the filler hole is not on the top of the machine it is on the front of the machine so you have to lay it on its back to fill it and then stand it up more or less making it impossible to fill it to the top and, just making it harder to fill in general... from the pictures I provided, you can see that the filler hole is on the front of the machine instead of on the top so you can't fill it to the very top and if you accidentally do not tighten it down all the way, it will leak out and spill everywhere and if you feel it too high, the carb is connected to the gas lid so it will leak down the front.. and you can see where the gas hose connects at the bottom of the machine, because of its position, it is impossible to get all of the fuel out of the tank.. pretty much what I have is a 16 gallon Vevor fuel pumping system paperweight.. I thought that I was going to use it all the time, I thought that it was going to be so much more convenient for me to go to the store with my five gallon jugs and bring them home and fill up my huge 16 gallon tank and use that great pumping system to fuel up my lawn mower and my chainsaws and weed wackers and rototillers and all my other gas powered machines.. but this 16 gallon fuel pumping storage system sits here empty collecting dust in my garage because of its awkwardness! it's just so much easier to use a 5 gallon jug

i just tried out the gas container and the electric motor does not work. waiting to hear from Vevor as to whether i can just return the motor, the gas container has 22 gallons of gas i can't transfer
