I’ve had this little forge for around a year and it has surprised me greatly. No issues so far. I’ve don’t a lot of forging with it for around three hours sometimes. Gets hot fast and works extremely well. Although I haven’t successfully forge welded with it so far, I think it could definitely be done. Even so it will still heat your metal up pretty close to forge welding temperature. Up to a very bright hot orange. Have enjoyed it very much. And probably will upgrade to the two burner soon. It’s still at an affordable price and I would recommend it over this one even if you are just starting out. Mainly just because there is a small price difference between them and with a two burner you have the option to heat up larger areas.

Nice product - I was expecting refracturing cement with this product - if not included it would be a great addition for safety reasons.

Awesome unit. Good quality. Great for knife making, I’m looking forward to experimenting with other metals in the forge.

This forge overall seems well made and the assembly is simple and easy. My only two complaints are, the legs supporting the forge are a little short and at the top of the forge where the burners are attached, it would be nice to have some rock wool to seal the opening. The propane/ air mixture adjusters at the top heat up quickly and it makes the ability to make changes while using the forge difficult. Other than that it is a well made tool.

I bought this dual burner forge to teach myself how to blade Smith the proper way.. I started with a backyard made coal forge (modified burn Barrell) but couldn't get the right forging temps and if I did it took a lot of wood and patience to get it there.. then I found vevor and let me tell you how much easier things got... Still need an anvil and tongs but you guys are sold out with the items in my price range

Onky down side is the aus version doesnt come with any refactory coating! If you get it do yourself the favor of making sure you coat it to save any harmful issues cause by the insuational getting hot. Great starter forge for the price.

Perfect for first time start up unit I reckon … gives me a buzz everytime I command the fire and steel!

Pro's Nice compact size, easy to move around. Comes with a refractory cement for the ceramic fibre blanket. Easy burner setup. Con's Gas hose and fittings don't match Australian fittings, so you'll need to purchase them separately to use with our gas bottles. No rigidizer supplied, which makes applying the refractory cement a pain. A rigidizer makes the fibre blankets surface hard which in turn makes applying the cement easier and a better finish.

Great starter forge ....great price...... Can't wait to use it..... Looks easy to use and have seen good reviews on it
