Sehr schönes Öfelchen. Messing und Aluminium schmilzt im Nu. Beim Kauf(preis) sollte man allerdings eine gewisse Zusatzausrüstung berücksichtigen: Mindestens Schutzbrille und Schweisserhandschuhe, die Hitze ist ungefähr mit einem Lagerfeuer vergleichbar. Dazu eine Gasflasche mit korrektem Anschluss (In der Schweiz anders als in Deutschland). Dann der Formenbau um das Metall auch korrekt zu giessen, hier braucht es Metallformen, Gusssand (Ölsand). Eine Zange welche den Schmelztigel schonender festhält schadet auch nicht. Dazu eine Kelle um Asche auf der Metallschmelze abzuschöpfen. Ein zweiter oder dritter Schmelztigel lohnt sich auch, der 12 kg Tiegel ist recht gross und dauert viel länger zum Erwärmen als ein kleiner. Auch Metall ist nicht ganz günstig und schlägt schnell mit einigen 10 EUR/kg zu Buche. Achtung: ggf. lokale Brandschutzrichtlinien beachten (Vermieter, Feuerwehr, Balkon, Werkstatt, Garten, Nachbarn, ...) Die zwei Brenner erzeugen gute Wärme, wehe aber, wenn man den Druck der beiden Brenner nicht wirklich gleich stark einstellt, oder gar nur einen Brenner am laufen hat: Dann kommt eine Flamme rückwärts aus dem zweiten Brenner und verbrennt die Ventile. Das kann sehr gefährlich werden! Nunja, und die Kapazität des Tiegels um 26 kg Gold zu schmelzen würde ich ja zu gerne ausnutzen. Nur weiss ich nicht, wie ich so einfach an 26 kg Gold kommen soll. Messing kostet auch schon um die 30 EUR/kg. Im Grossen und Ganzen aber: geiles Spielzeug. Auf Youtube hat sogar jemand mit diesem Gerät Eisen geschmolzen, auch wenn das hier ausgeschlossen wird.

Livraison rapide.. j ai déjà fait 6 fournées et tout se passe bien .ce kit est vraiment parfait pour débuter, super simple à monter et à utiliser . Je recommande car pour le prix il n. Y a pas mieux.

Le four est dune manière générale bien fourni. Pensez a faire le revêtement réfractaire sur les parois, attention les outils fournis avec ne conviennent pas pour la fonderie. Sinon, ca marche bien, pour la France, il faudra une bouteille sans limiteur de pression, le détendeur fourni est noté 30psi mais je ne suis pas arrivé a monter a plus de 20 - 25 psi Essayé avec de l alu bien content !

I dont know ow much about crucibles but I am impressed with this one. I've melted down a few lbs of copper so far. Used it in 4 different sessions and I still don't see any fractures or abnormalities in the crucible. As an amateur I would say it's worth the money.

Starting up my furnace to season the crucible. It has been sprayed with rigidizer and once cooled I'll apply refactory cement. 5 minutes to a nice glow, so the melting process will not take long. I am going to love using this furnace.

It's my second forge of this kind I bought. First one was really smaller. I tested this one and I appreciate it very much! Size is amazing. I made a youtube review https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cLPqaH0lo9Q. CON: When crucible is full of metal, you will need a other tong for pooring. Weight seem too big to support poor with the included tong. I think crucible will crack and detach if all weight is at the same corner when pooring.
