Très bon petit appareil qui fonctionne très bien qui consomme très peu de gaz satisfait de mon investissement

I did put refractory on the insulation before firing it. I bought the dual burner to make sure it could get the job done so it's first test was copper. If it can melt copper enough to pour easily. It can melt about anything. And it did. The 12k crucible in not a fan of. Which takes nothing away from the unit. It's just a massive, heavy crucible, that will be very intimidating if it's your first time. The thing will look like the sun. Wear very thick welding gloves and no exposed skin. I found an old welding helmet and took the dark plate out and left the clear. This is a major help when you stand over the opening to look in. It open it to pour. Just put sunglasses on under. Otherwise that 12k crucible is gonna feel like it's melting your face. I actually throttled back the propane and didn't need it full blast for a huge crucible and copper. So it will get the job done. I ended up buying a 2k crucible and a good firebrick to keep the smaller crucible up into the flame. Much better manageable deal that way. And melted faster. The 2 burner unit will go through propane. Kind of his without saying and common sense. 2 burners=twice the propane. It is nice you can shut one off while using the other. Or start out with one until everything nice and toasty. Then fire the other and off you go. The construction isn't bad. After all for the price you're not going to get 3/16 stainless steel unit. But overall gets the job done and so far so good.

Whilst I have not used this product yet, other reviews I have read have advised to treat the inner insulating fabric prior to use. The information received with the product does not mention that treating the lining will enhance the life of the product. It would be nice to know if Vevor also recommend treating the lining with sodium silicate and fire cement?

Qualité prix imbattable , couvercle pas tout a fait étanche, fonctionne très bien, consommation de gaz raisonnable, faut plus des pinces pour sortir et manipuler le creuset...

Bonjour, Petite fonderie vevor testée il y a peu. -Marche très bien pour l'aluminium fonte rapide jolie lingots réalisés dans des moules a cake. -Met un peu de temps pour atteindre la température de fusion du cuivre elle galère un peu mais marche bien. Les petits défauts: -Pas de laine réfractaire fournie ce qui engendre un jolie surcout vue la surface. Vevor fait un geste commerciale si on le demande mais dommage de ne pas simplement avoir ça dans l’emballage a un prix de gros négocié par Vevor auprès de fournisseurs. Ce serait un +. -La poignée en bois.... fonderie... haute température... bois.... bref tiendra un peu et sera remplacer quand il faudra de manière simple.
