I love my water distiller except for one little detail, you can't start it automatically with a Wi-Fi plug; you must push the power button which makes it more complicated to save money when the electricity is cheaper. However, the water purification is excellent.

The distillation is as good as one can expect; the water tank's remaining water is yucky and smelly, so you know it did a good job. The biggest drawback is that you can't start it with a timer. The distiller will only begin distilling with the push of a button, which means you can't take advantage of low-priced electricity when asleep or away from the distiller. The heat from the process is enough to heat a room and it should be great to be able to start the distiller remotely right before dawn at the coldest time of the day.

Ich habe vor kurzem mir diesen destillierer zugelegt und bin wirklich zufrieden. Das einzige was ich etwas schwierig finde ist die Position der Steuerplatine die sich unterhalb des Behälter befindet. Aufgrund dieser Position darf man den Behälter nicht in einem offenen Wasserbad reinigen oder Wasser schöpfen. Man muss immer den Behälter in einer trockenen Umgebung reinigen. Abgesehen davon ist es wirklich ein sehr gutes Gerät mit automatischer Abschaltfunktion. Ich habe es bereits im Bekanntenkreis weiter empfohlen.

Bisher bin ich zufrieden- ich frage mich nur, wie teuer meine Stromrechnung wird... Fürchte sie wir immens steigen...

Lo utilizo con un programador para apagarlo un poco antes y que quede un dedo de agua en el fondo, y así se limpia más facil. Me gustaría que el botón de encendido fuera de on/off en lugar de un pulsador, porque así podría programarlo para que se encienda cuando yo quiera con el programador. El asa de la jarra es mejor montarla entre dos. La monté yo solo y me costó bastante. Muy buenos materiales. Si el ventilador hiciera un poco menos de ruido sería excelente.

I am very happy with this distiller. I had a previous model, and I had problems with it from day one. This one works great, Easy push button start, and no worries about it running dry and cycling between off and on. This one shuts off when the tank is empty. The glass carafe is a little too heavy for my disabled husband to use, so we use an old plastic jug from our previous distiller instead. If we stay on top of refilling the distiller we can get 4 jugs a day. We use the water in our humidifiers, and CPAP machine, so go through 4-5 jugs a day during the winter season. The machine looks the same as pictured.

I replaced a distiller unit with this one after an accident. This one is a bit less versatile as the previous unit had multiple target temperatures but this one is one button to start and one to stop. Easy. Also this one has a better lid on the receiving pitcher. Another benefit to this unit is the little tube to direct the output. The previous unit needed to be carefully placed to ensure the distilled water ends up in the pitcher and not on the counter.
