I have the 1" version which came with both plastic backings. The plastic backings are not useful, I haven't made a successful button with them yet. I get a successful button about 1/3 of the time using the metal backings. I cannot recommend this product.

La máquina no funciona de la manera correcta, tenemos tiempo trabajando con botones en nuestro emprendimiento y hemos tenido que cambiar de máquina por qué llegamos a europa pero está máquina no es buena, viene desajustada lo que hace que dale los botones es una máquinas para que los niños jueguen no recomendada para uso prolongado producción masiva a pesar que la envían con 500 juegos de botones, los troqueles no calzan bien NO LA RECOMENDAMOS PARA NADA

Dies would not fit together making it unusable. Looking at the press it is low quality with no quality control. Wanted a refund but they insisted sending replacement dies. Dies were out of stock and after a month wait the dies arrived with same issue. I'm just giving up at this point waisting no more time with these jokers. Complete waste of money!

I had high hopes for this product, but have been greatly disappointed. Once I was finally able to put it together I get maybe 1 button out of every 5 I try to make. Even those don’t look completely right. The plastic film and paper don’t get fully crimped around the parts. It’s also very hard to use. I struggle to pull the handle and get it to fully engage. Super frustrating!

The button maker worked good, for the first couple of times that we used it. We didnt touch it for another 8-9 months and then the next job we were doing the button maker started pushing out bad buttons. The tops in the same spot on every button were not sealing the plastic or the picture.

Traté y Traté con todo lo que me decía elmanual y nada, no pude hacerla funcionar con las tapas de plástico, y viene muy débil la presión, funcionó ligeramente con las tapas de metal pero era un 50/50 los que funcionaban.

Have not received product, have emailed company twice and no response at this point, very, very disappointed.

Not so easy to use - not the greatest quality - one in three badges work - frustrating and annoying really

I purchased this for my daughter’s Christmas present, she has really been wanting one. After checking reviews, I decided on this one. The unit did not work. I asked to send it back for a new one, but they asked for a video. I was unable to send a video, so I sent a picture. They so kindly kept replying telling me to check the user guide and really brushing me off. I had an engineer friend take a look at the unit, he added a spacer to the second die and now it’s working fine. So if you don’t have an engineer friend, you might want to purchase elsewhere. They do not help at all, you can’t call a phone number and they give you a very, very hard time on returning or exchanging. So now it’s fixed, on my own time and I’m just about out of pins in trying to fix it. I would not recommend this product or this company.

I am not thrilled!! I was excited about this, but you can tell it has been used A LOT. There are several dents and scratches, hot glue on the springs, and it just looks rough. Purchased for my classroom, but due to this, I wish I had gone a different route.
