hi*** Works fine so far!
I bought a tankless water heater from Vevor that worked fairly well, but it was sometimes hard to keep the temperature steady, so I bought this to try to solve that problem. Now once I get the temperature where I want it it stays constantly at that temperature. The water first goes through the tankless water heater and then into the tank heater at 140 degrees, so I should never run low on hot water. In total I spent less than $500, which is less expensive than a 50 gallon tank heater.

It works. What I don't like about it is that the threaded fittings on the water inlet and outlet have a weird end that I believe is meant to be a heat trap. One was not set well on the hot port. It was a pain in the butt to get it to thread. It also feels like you will break the fittings on the tank before you get it tight. Patience and determination were needed. Once it was in, it took about a half hour for hot water.

It does keep up in a whole house setup. Gets nice and hot. It's not energy hungry compared to the 40gal 240v or larger units. Easy to install due to it smaller size. It is of quality build and looks to last for years to come with proper maintenance. But does not keep up with in demand 24hr. continuous hot water as claimed in the listing. Which ultimately was why I chose this listing over other comparable units. Can't claim it if it can't do it. There is always going to be that one person who WILL accept that challenge.
