The ballast box is exactly as expected for the money. It was packaged good and received on time. The main problem is the size of the lift pins! The pins are for a Cat 0. They send a bushing for the upper pin that measures 1” which is for a Cat 2 upper pin? Other than the pin sizes the box seems to be of good quality for the price.

I’m not sure what you would need to put 800 pounds in of I filled with sand and water and it’s still basically 250 pounds need to build a larger unit. Even with density of concrete, I could still only get 310 pounds in.

Packaging is very thin with just cardboard walls and not properly protected, so box arrived slightly bent at some corners. Paint is peeling where bend occurred. Still usable, so I didn't bother with complaining/replacement. But you get what you pay for, quality not matched with famous tractors vendors.

Was advertised as category 1 but lift pins are really category 0 with some bushings. This will make it impossible for me to make this work with my category 3 quick hitch. I wish the lift pins were actually category 1, or at least they could be longer.

The bottom pins for this do not fit a Cat 1 3pt hitch as advertised. The box rattles around in 3 pt hitch holes. The pins are 18 mm diameter when 7/8” (or 22..225mm) is needed and I have not yet found a bushing that will convert the pin to 7/8” that I’m happy with.

I purchased this ballast box due to the advertisement stating it was for Category 1, but the pins sent with the box are category 0. I sent an email to VEVOR about this, and they offered to send a set of bushings. I replied to them that "bushings will not correct the problem", and told them, "It needed the correct category 1 pins and the attachment holes enlarged to accept those pins. They replied that they would refund me $37 to cover the cost of the pins. It did not cover the cost of what it took to drill the holes larger, buy Quick Hitch Bushings or any other tools, equipment needed to make it a category 1 hitch. So, with that being said, do not believe the description that you see when looking at this box to purchase. It is very misleading. I do not believe that it will hold the 800 pounds as advertised either. The price is what catches your attention along with the description, but beware, it is a different story when you actually have it onsite. Vevor, I'm sorry for this review, but tell the truth when advertising products. I am not very happy with companies that sell foreign made products cheaply with possible false advertising. You can do better!

Box is good overall for the price , the only problem is the hitch receiver bent downward moving my empty dump trailer around my driveway.

Well construction could be better and this definitely will not weight 800 pounds after being loaded with anything. False advertisement . But for the money it does hold some weight and 2 handled tools

I bought it because of the price and features. I loaded it with 600 lbs of scrap metal and lead. It works as advertised. On the first use I damaged it when I drove the tractor forward after forgetting to raise it. It bent the legs on the bottom of the box. Bottom line the steel is just not thick enough to withstand hard use. I pounded it out. I will continue to use it while I look for a used heavy steel box.

Ordered this item and it arrived in a prompt manner and in good condition. Appears to be fairly well made with decent welds and gussets. However, it was advertised as a CAT 1. The unit that I received appears to be CAT 0. It is not compatible with my Kubota b2100 or my rk25 or my rk37 all of which are CAT 1.
