You would pay about the same to rent one from Home Depot or United Rentals for 1 day! I used it to take out a double set of concrete block stairs and a landing 5 feet tall. I don't have any bad things to say about it. Good quality, great price and who cares if it breaks tomorrow but I don't think it will. The Bosch I rented before couldn't do the job and it was the same build. Don't hesitate just buy!

Acheté pour démolir 25m² de terrasse avec une épaisseur variable (de 16cm à 25cm par endroits), réalisé en une 10aine de jours (rotations à la déchèterie comprises : une 20aine d'A/R ça prend du temps). Pour nous c'était une première que d'utiliser ce type d'outil et le verdict c'est que ce marteau remplit parfaitement sa mission, satisfaction totale. Mais c'est à la fois physique et technique. Physique parce qu'il faut tenir les 20kg et technique parce qu'il faut toujours bouger le marteau pour éviter que le burin ne se bloque dans le sol. Certains commentaires évoquent la destruction de murs, je ne vois pas comment c'est envisageable de tenir un tel outil à bout de bras à l'horizontale pendant plus de 30 secondes. Il est livré avec le réservoir interne en partie remplit d'huile, ce qui permet selon le mode d'emploi livré avec, d'utiliser le marteau piqueur entre 20h et 30h. Pour compléter en huile, il faut de la ISO 46, qui se trouve en GSB aux rayons outillage de jardinage avec les huiles de coupe, etc ... Seul petit bémol la poignée en plastique dur : après une utilisation prolongée elle fait mal à la main et au poignet. Il faut se prévoir des temps de pause assez nombreux pour s'éviter le mal de dos et les tendinites et autres. Mais pour le prix, c'est un produit au top. PS : bonne communication de Vevor après quelques inquiétudes dues à un retard de livraison

Used the demo hammer to bust up a concrete step and walkway. It performed well. Does not have damped handles so I wouldn't spend all day on it but it did well for the price. I will use this occasionally. Don't know if it will work for an everyday job.

Beast mode on Dollar General wages. It takes no crap and can pound all night long. I'm jelly to say the least. Will make your arms jelly as well. Find a better one cheaper, I dare you!

I had a really thick and high strength Porch to remove so I could work on my foundation... When I saw this Demo Jack Hammer for under $200 I was like, what have I got to lose? All I had to do was add the Hydraulic oil and figure out how to insert the Bit. (Not easy! - I will not be removing it because I have no clue how to do that) First we demoed a sidewalk for a friend, his water line had broken underneath. This was pretty easy, it was only 2 inches thick. Worked like I dream. Then we set to work on the thick slab. Turned out it was only 10-12 inches thick around the outside, it was poured over a previous slab and they used high strength cement to make sure it held. Well, it was holding! But this Jackhammer allowed us to take it down 3-4 inches at a time, we just cracked away at it. It needs to be pushed down to fire off, and if you get it too close to the edge it will jump and dump you off. But the power was there and we removed that 10 foot x 10 foot slab in about 8 hours or so. Crazy that it works so well and costs so little. I have already gotten my moneys worth out of it. 1 more job and I will be ahead! Unit is still going strong.

I was a little septic to purchase this tool but figured if it lasted a few weeks it would e fine for the price. I had a major concrete removal job and needed a hammer. Delivery was quick, price was excellent and the tool has been working non stop for months. No issues whatsoever and our use was intense concrete Removal 4-6 inches of slab and 12 inches of concrete columns. I hope my review helps other potential buyers. I never take the time to write reviews but I am very satisfied with this tool and hope my review helps in taking a decision.

I've used it enough now to see that it should last. only issue I have is that it leaks oil from where the chisel gets installed, not sure if this is by design or not but it works great still just need to make sure you keep the oil reservoir toped up. On the plus side you never have to change out the oil since you keep adding new stuff.

This jackhammer works wonderfully! It's controllable and easy to use. This hammer is perfect for breaking up rock or concrete, especially if you need to do a lot of it. Be aware that this tool does not have a rotary function. For example, it cannot drill holes in rock or masonry. If this is something you might do, the SDS-max rotary hammer is probably a better choice. It still does a decent job of breaking up hard material, and it can also drill smooth holes.
