Had a bunch of holes to drill in a fabricated steel table and the Vevor portable magnetic drill press far exceeded our expectations. It is solid, secure, true and chatter free. Can't believe how well this equipment works and am sure glad we gave this brand/model a try. Works great and saved a ton of $$$ over the name brand machines.

I have always wanted one of these but they were always out of my price range. If you drill holes in heavy steel don’t waste any time ready the rest of this just order one!
I have used this with great success drilling a bunch of holes. The steel needs to be pretty thick to work well with the magnet. The work surface also has to be large enough to have good contact with the base. I worked around these problems when I was working on some thinner(3/16) 2x3angle by taking a 6” bar that was 1/2”thick and setting 2 pices of angle on top of to. That allowed the magnet to sit flat on the 2 pieces of angle while getting plenty of steel hold onto from the angle and the bar.
Even did a pretty good job on some small milling projects. Probably shouldn’t try building a spaceship with it but trucks and toys it’s plenty good for.
Can’t beat it for the price!
