I bought two of these and a 1.5T to replace a couple Harrington units that needed rebuilds, for less than the cost of rebuilding one unit. The Vevor works well, but is a bit cumbersome to get set up for pulling. The ratcheting mechanism and freewheel are sometimes difficult to engage/disengage, but once the chain is tensioned it pulls smoothly. The handles keep slipping off, I need to use an adhesive or drill and pin the handle cover, but for the price I really can’t complain.

The 20" chain is heavy but I I know it will not break.
The coating is quite tough, I put some light oil on to
keep it from spalling but it may not need that, not sure.
The action is very positive under load. The brake action is
consistent, and the switch from down to up is very smooth.
The assembly is well-designed with nylon lock nuts to prevent
coming apart while loaded.
I feel like this is the best quality medium-capacity manual hoist I have used.
The only thing that makes "easy to use" four stars instead of five is that for one person,
it is quite an effort to move it around. A cart or carrier two-wheeler is appropriate for
a smaller person. The chain is quite heavy at 20 feet long.

WHAM Great tool for pulling trees for cutting and moving heavy things.
Used this tool for pulling trees to fall where I need them. 20-foot length is perfect for this job.

Very heavy duty. I have a tough time carrying it around. Used it to pull stumps and an 8" steel pipe out of the ground with no problem. The brake did seize and I had to ask customer service how to remedy: they sent a video of how to free it by hitting the handle with a hammer in the direction of releasing brake (with ratchet lever in the right "down" position). Chain is heavy as well. A good value.
