Always using a tap or die. Bought because it was cheap. On opening it for the first time pieces fall right out and don't stay put. Only used once on a 1/4 20. No drill bit guide included. Good if your into cheap

I gave my ratings on this set based on receiving and viewing this set, I haven't physically used it yet, though if and when I do, I hope I can change my opinion.

Half the taps and dies Don't work due to the machining of them being very poor, m10x1.5 die doesn't even fit a m10x1.5 thread and noticed a bunch of them are juat poorly machined and don't work

A good range set for the money, if your a occasional user. The worst thing about it is the cheap plastic case. It doesn't hold the dies nor a good deal of the taps, so closing and opening is fraught with pieces flying all over the place. The tool handles are also cheap and loose their grip easily on the taps. Address those 2 shortcomings and it would score better

Does the job i needed it for

I just received this tap/die set. The taps are absolute junk with huge burrs on the leading edge of the flutes. If used, these taps would destroy a threaded hole. I didn’t expect real tool quality but expected that the taps would chase a thread. Do not buy these as they are by far the cheapest of the cheap.

Ive bought several tools from vevor over the last 3 years or so almost all of them have done exactly what i bought them for....the tap and die set not so much. First tap i used snapped off 3rd turn trying to cut threads into mild steel and took an hour to get it out. Tryed to use several die and they dont even clean up the threads already there. Completely destroyed a wheel stud trying to clean threads up. Will definately not buy again.

I did residence this tools, but I have not used this jet.

I brought this set to excange the set I brought cheap here in Norway. But this seem Even cheaper. The holders for the bits are sad and flimsy and will probably brake fast...

Had a die break on first use, they do not have the taper needed to get started. And a few common sizes found in automotive repair are not in the kit
