This is the larger Ball Vise, its heavy and appears to have all the features you would require, as a hobby jeweller I am happy with the purchase, folks with smaller hands might consider the 3" Ball Vise, it looks very well made, and should last longer than I will.

The parts are fitting little loose and jaw's to,but with with a little work and a patent from me it work nice...! also the coating from the ballvise starting off on the first week of use, so i took it off and use it with the naturale color of iron and periodically put-on protection from antitrust WD 40 and that's it...!

It’s good only problem is I think I was sent a used one. It not used then damaged in production. Either way shouldnt have been shipped

Some of the attachments are not quite as snug fitting as they could be but given the value for money it's a small niggle. Easy to use, makes close work so much easier. Definitely give it a go.

Overall fine, specially the delivery that was very fast. I personally didn't like it cause it arrived full of oil and the pins kept jumping out when using it. i used it for stone setting, not engraving really. You have to be sure before you purchase it cause no return and refund are accepted if the ball vice doesn't meet your needs. I suggest to watch tons of videos before you do it. Next time i would buy it on Amazon cause they do allow returns and i appreciate that.

I order this vise because I cannot afford a GRS at the moment and my work load is of a small/hobby studio. A fellow jeweler suggested I buy the 5" vise but decided to go for the 3", logistics was great, arrived on time and well packaged. I decided to try it right away and I had a small issue. The 3" vise comes with a plastic white base that has no grip so the ball kept slipping and sliding to the sides, I used some cloth, I use tape around the base and no luck :(. I called customer service and they answered right away, I wanted to exchanged it for the bigger one, not an option and unfortunately they had no solution for the slipping base either, they said the 3" vise is meant to be like that ;/, they offer me a shipping credit which is ok, thank you, but no solution for the slipping vise. So I went to "google" and found a GRS rubber base for this vise, I ordered and used it instead of the white plastic base, and it worked! For the price compare to the other high end vises is good, but certainly it could be A LOT better, is working well now that I have the rubber base. So VEVOR it was a small design issue that could be fix with an inexpensive rubber base that could be added to the item!

Has a bit of wobble but didn’t cost me an organ.

Si no se me hubiera despegado el cuero y roto una patita de él sujeta sortijas, hubiera sido un buen producto. Pero se me ha roto demasiado rápido. Ojalá me lo puedan reemplazar.

die zusatzteie sind nicht passgenau, bohrungen zu gross, zapfen zu klein muss modifiziert werden. leider. nicht zu empfehlen
