Seems solid - Hope to enjoy for many years
Arrived in great condition - Was a bit fiddly aligning the holes to bolt it together while also keeping the flanged face well aligned. I would suggest putting the bolts in loosely to all holes and have some one help hold it together while you tighten the bolts. While the paint looked perfect, I used a whole can of high heat black spray paint for an extra level of protection. We have had four fires so far and it is holding up great!

Thick Steel Ring
I installed this ring into a 36.5 inch diameter, 16.5 inch high paver fire pit. The ring appears to be well made of thick steel. The exterior coating appears to be of good quality. I put a couple of inches of sand on the bottom of the fire pit and topped the sand with lava rock to protect the exposed pavers not covered by the ring flange . Some install notes. Your nuts and bolts may be heavily wrapped in packing tape, don't discard them with the packing as I almost did. If you're using this as an insert don't completely tighten the assembly bolts until after you place the ring in your fire pit. To get this to fit properly, I had to place the ring into the fire pit with slack in the bolts, push the ring flush into the paver pit, then tighten the bolts to complete install. Time will tell on durability. I'm pleased so far.

Excellent fire pit ring
Great ring, very strong, heavy duty (did not measure thickness), arrived undamaged (luckily) and round after assembly within 1/2” all around, pretty good for a 4 piece assembly unit. I flipped the included bolts around so the head is what’s shown on the inside of the ring - much better than looking at a bunch of threaded ends.Drilled some holes up top for a smokeless design, works fairly well with spacing between the stones on the first layer and a grate, ~80% less smoke overall in general. Wish these came pre-drilled, it’s thick metal so it was tough to drill through, painted the bare metal hole edges with high heat paint and done.Note many comment about rusting…so it’s mild steel. It’s gona rust no matter what. It’s not a big deal and something this thick should last a few years. What you need to do is once a year in the off-season (summer), take it out, lightly sand it (wear dust mask), and re-paint it with high heat paint (look for it in the auto section, made for engines). That’s it. Man up and learn how to maintain your fire pit.

Looks
Product is very sturdy, have 1 panel that is off on color, also lots of scatched.. I would recommend to manufacture to includes locking washer for bolts and nut and make the bolt a bit shorter.
